SUAP UNTUK MENDAPATKAN JABATAN DI PEMERINTAHAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF HUKUM ISLAM
Abstract
The practice of bribery in the appointment of government positions has become an increasingly urgent and complex issue, undermining both justice and the integrity of institutions. This study aims to analyze bribery from the perspective of Islamic law and identify principles that can be applied to address this problem. The methodology employed in this research includes a qualitative approach, utilizing literature review and in-depth interviews with relevant informants. Findings indicate that weak law enforcement and a bureaucratic culture that condones bribery are primary factors contributing to the prevalence of this issue in Indonesia. The application of Islamic values within public policy can enhance integrity and foster a cleaner government. This research also emphasizes the importance of collective public awareness in rejecting unethical practices, thereby rebuilding trust in government institutions. Consequently, this study is expected to significantly contribute to efforts in combating corruption within the public sector.
