Focus and Scope
This journal also aims to bridge the gap between textual and contextual approaches to Islamic Studies and address the dichotomy between ‘orthodox’ and ‘heterodox’ Islam. It highlights how the textual tradition demonstrates that Islam is not only a set of religious tenets but also a method for approaching practical economic and social challenges. Therefore, this journal fosters interdisciplinary collaboration by inviting contributions from scholars across various fields, including the humanities, social sciences, and Islamic studies.
